Football Season 2010

It has been a little crazy here lately and that has resulted in a lack of posts until today when I received a gentle text message that read. . ."I think it's time for a new blog" So Aunt B here you go. . . . . .
A couple weeks ago Bryn, Chris Rylee Brady and I went to my dads first football game of the season in Oceanside. If was so fun and Rylee loved it. She pretty much loves anything that involves clapping, cheering and high five'ing!! It really felt like football season too, the weather felt like it was turning in to fall. As we all know know that is not the case as it was 105 when I was in Newport Beach yesterday. She loved watching JJ on the field. From the stands she thought every football player was him. She would say. . .I see JJ and point to everyone.

Aunt B is the best Aunt in the world she entertains Rylee at every event we go to. They are like best little buddies.

Chris had fun at taking Brady to his first one of many football games. Brady was bundled up so tight and warm that he slept through 75% of the game.

Rylee is a good fan she stood down on the fence cheering on JJ (not the team) She would shake her pom pom and Yell "GO JJ" and now every time she sees football on TV she yells "GO JJ" We try to tell her to root for the team that is playing and she says she is cheering for JJ!!!

Touchdown!! Enough said :) She's a good fan!!
Brady took his 3 month pics today so that will most likely be the next post! I can't believe he will be 3 months tomorrow. . .time flies. He is getting so big he weighs 15lbs and wears 6-9month clothes. Chris calls him D1. He is starting to smile a little more everyday and could be rolling over real soon!! I will try not to be so MIA in the future. There are a lot of fun things coming up that will lead to great pictures and great stories I'm sure!! Can't wait

Bathroom fun times . . .

Rylee came home from the beach this weekend after finding out that Jace goes "pee pee on the potty" and decided it would be a good idea if she tried it out too!! We have sat on the potty a million times and nothing goes in the potty but toilet paper. I figure one of these times it will actually work. I think she just likes the act of sitting upon the porcelain God!!!

Bath time with two kids. . . .The bath master's (Chris) dream come true!
Rylee didn't splash and made sure Brady had a good time in her bath!

He loves bath time, just sits there taking it all in. . .

We have got to get this boy some new blue stuff. The Pink towel just doesn't work for him. Now that he is taking a big boy bath he needs a big boy bath towel!!
Rylee found my old hair extensions and called it princess hair!! She loved looking at herself in the mirror. The scary part is they match perfectly . . . Halloween here we come they will go great with her costume :)

The End of Summer . . .

Labor day in Newport Beach is the traditional end of summer gala! We are all there, we go to the beach take lots of pictures and then on Labor day we all ride our bikes to Huntington Beach come back and eat hot dogs off the infamous hot dog roller. NOT so this time. . . Bryn and Scott were at the River, the sun NEVER came out, nobody rode to Huntington Beach, Oh and the hot dog roller never made an appearance and as you can see no pictures were taken:(
What a perfect ending to the weirdest summer on record!!
We did however have lots of fun. Rylee got to play with her beach boyfriend Jace, Chris and I got to go out for Date Night with some friends and Yaya, Mimi and Grandpa got to watch Brady. We visited South Coast Plaza did a little shopping, took Rylee on countless bike rides and went to the Fun Zone with Chris, JJ and I to ride the carousel, Ferris Wheel, Ferry and play games.
It is just so weird to have a summer with no sun. Hopefully next summer will surprise us all and be the hottest summer on record, if so we will be spending lots of time on 26th street.
